To make this really feel homey we need to decorate:) I will do my very best to direct you in using our new home but remember this is a work in progress and it takes us to engage the site and others!

Lets start by updating your profiles so that people know you are a real person. You can add a profile photo, facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, Blogger, and WordPress accounts. You can also add your location (maybe connect with others near you?), birthdays (so we can sing to you), and a signatures.

Lets look at how to update your profiles so bear with me. This photo lays out where all these things are. I left out some things but I think you will get the point:)

1. Where you EDIT your profile.
2. Your Profile Photo.
3. Your Location.
4. Your Birthdays.
5. Your Signature.
6. Your social media buttons.
7. Your email address.





Editing profile...

Click on Edit button and that will allow you to access the settings for your profile.



Lets look at the tabs and each area that you can update to help others connect with you and make your profile your own!

Account tab...

User Name: You cannot change this...
Name: You can put your real name or not.
E-mail: You can update your email.
Password: Change your password.
Verify Password: Verify the changed password.





Information tab...

Your Title: This appears over your profile photo. Mine says ~ Humble Servant ~
Birthdate: Your birthday!
Location: City and state.
Gender: Are you a boy or a girl?
Facebook: Your facebook page URL.
Pinterest: Your pinterest page URL.
Twitter: Your twitter page URL.
Blogger: Personal blog URL.
Wordpress: Personal blog URL.
Signature: Post a wise saying or something you like here.





Avatar tab...

Keep Current: Select this to keep what you selected in image gallery or what you have uploaded.
Use Default: Select this to use built in default image.
Upload New: You can upload a profile photo from your PC or mobile devices.
(Max. Size 1000x1000)
Gallery: These are default images that you can use for the site if you like:)





Settings tab...

Preferred Message: Ordering: Changing this will change the order of the forum post.
Hide E-mail: This will ether hide or show your email from your profile.
Show Online: This will ether hide or show your are on the site.

I tried to change my profile picture today. I got a successful upload message, but the picture never changed? I logged off and back on but still had the same photo.
