That's fun software. I subscribe to it through growveg.com. You can have up to five garden plans. We have a large enough garden that I can do a four orfive year rotation. I keep thinking that I'll plot out my rotations, print them out and stop subbing but it's so nice for making notes and keeping track of varieties...I just keep paying the $25/yr. And it's fun, hehe.

Here's a link to the Garden Planner. You can try it for 30 days free then you subscribe for one year. It's the best garden planner I have found yet. It gives you planting times inside and outside for your area. It shows you how many plants you can grow in your space and so much more! You just put in your frost dates and plot size. It's fun and takes out a lot of guess work in garden planning.
It's private requires a password BUT you can share to public if you choose.

Matt, earlier this year you guys posted a chart on your facebook page about companion planting, I gave that a try this past year with pretty good results, I haven't seen the planner from mother earth news, but the two could probably be used together

Just click on the link I put there it will take you to the home page. There's even samples and a video. Also videos on YouTube. You can try it free for 30 days. I was hooked by day four!! They have improved it and you can do crop rotation very easy with this app. I cannot even begin to state all that it does. One thing I have asked them to do was give us the option of putting in companion plants. Some have that filled in and others do not. I do companion planting so I always look them up when I'm planning a garden. Succession planting is made easier also!

BTW discovered this last season celery and cabbage love each other!

Thanks CD. I have the planner as well. I need to utilize it better. Maybe you can teach me the ins & outs or give some pointers on how you use it best.

Here is the companion planting chart that I thought I grabbed from the HFI facebook page earlier this year, I used it this past year with pretty good results, the thing I like is the color coding
