No hate in my heart, just jealous *giggle*
Come to my garden and sit with me...
Among the flowers and honey bees...

It's 34* and the wind feels like ice!here in Western KY. Got lettuce growing inside for greens for my layers. Buttercrunch will grow just about anywhere! I plan to put in some sugar snap peas Feb 1 in my new Hugelkultur garden. I can also plant green onions, spinach, arugula, garlic and spinach. View my garden plan here.

One year I planted Tomatoes on time (early for me... but at an ok time generally) and then we had a frost. SO, I bought tomato seedlings and planted them a few weeks later. EVERYTHING ended up growing, including the frostbitten original tomato seedlings! That's just Murphy's law... if I had not planted more seedlings the frozen ones wouldn't have grown ;)

Most definitely! Snow is melting now so everything is too muddy outside... But I am looking to get my seedlings started!

Will you didn't waste no time Emily:) Welcome to the group my friend!!! I was thinking about buying like a little cheap greenhouse that I can put together to get things started. Of course that involves me acting on that thought process but then I always end up thinking "it will all work out":) ha ha ha B)

I was just at Harbor Freight and they have a tiered greenhouse for sale, for like $25 bucks, and you can use a 20% off coupon commonly found in magazines and newspapers. If I didn't already have one, I would buy one. It's probably super cheap, but a good starter to see if it's something you'd like.

Yeah, I was eyeballing one on Amazon:) I don't have a huge backyard so I don't really need to start too many plants. Something small like that would be perfect:)

I too have really been itching! Got out today and pruned my fruit trees. Man I have gotten soft already! Going to put up a hoop house in the next week, so I can extend my seasons
