We built this coop for future Quail or Pheasants raising.... Currently it houses our six three month old chickens. It is built out of a reclaimed cedar fence I got from a co worker.
Our goal is to keep things rustic looking round the Ranch!

Well, mission accomplished on making it look rustic my friend:) You building something else for your chickens? I am really wanting to raise quail for meat but my sweetheart has not wanted to let me do that just yet. What kinds of quail are you wanting to get?

We want to get Mountain Quail because I like the ones that look like the old cartoons we use to watch as kids. We also like Snow Quail. Gonna build a much larger coop and run for chickens bout an 8x8 or 10x10 shed style to keep food etc... in then add a large run as we'll.
No pics of inside but maybe later.
