I downloaded the plans from backyard chickens.com...the larger one I bought a book of plans on some special deal of sorts, the other one is on their small chicken coop area. The first larger one we followed the plan, having learned how hard it is to clean with poor access to the coop we changed the second coop up a bit making it much easier to clean..and our girls only use two of the eight boxes on the first coop, so we only built two boxes on the smaller one. We haven't painted it and we really need to soon...weather got wet and has not helped ny siding at all...Arizona is rarely wet, but lately we have had lots of weather...coops remain dry..
