No I haven't yet, we were talking about using one once the deck and little fish pond is built but that won't be until next year.

It looks fairly promising with it running 24hrs. It definitely peaked my curiosity so I did some searches and evidently they are used quite a bit in the off grid world. I found some articles dating back to the early 1900's so i'm sure long before that. Nice little idea that has been lost in the industrial ages were energy was cheap, well, justified lol...

These low tech idea's are slowly making there way up, as with cost of living, someone will always find a cheaper solution to a problem, especially if it's needed!
